I wasn't worried about the reaction of family and friends because I knew in my heart that I had made the only possible decision. There was fallout, my engagement to be married ended, my best friend decided I was nuts, and I sold my business and moved to Hawaii to pioneer, selling what little I had and uprooting. Big changes, plenty of confrontation, and yet I'm still here after more than 30 years and more in love with Baha'u'llah than ever.

After reading your story, I believe it may be helpful to each of you to understand, both in your minds and hearts, that Christ is Baha'u'llah, and Baha'u'llah, Christ. You never left your Christian Faith by acknowledging His return in the Glory of the Father, you expanded it. You are now more Christian than before, and I think you probably know that now, don't you?

For more on this, I recommend a beautiful book by Thom Thomson on teaching the Faith to Christians entitled Questions From Christians about Baha'u'llah and The Baha'i Faith. If you have a smart phone, I highly recommend the electronic version from Amazon.com. It's just $10 and having it on your phone means you can read it over and over without carrying a dead tree around with you;-) I have read 4 times now and have finally started using it in my teaching efforts. It is truly wonderful.

Congratulations!!!! My love and prayers to both of you.

Sincerely,

Jason McCants, Long Beach, CAAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11383413166848607711noreply@blogger.com
