Seeker on the move . . .

Many people who are interested in learning about the Faith contact the Baha'is through the 1-800-22UNITE number or the national Web site. This system involves close collaboration between various individuals and institutions at the national, regional and local levels. Capacity and experience in this area has built up over time. This report from the Northeast region shows an example of this cooperation in action to keep connected with a seeker on the move.

A seeker from Pennsylvania contacted the national Web site with some questions, which were answered by the Regional Specialist. He was eager to talk to some Bahá’ís in person, so a meeting with local believers was arranged. The seeker then moved several times among different clusters over the next several months. The Regional Specialist then worked with friends in the various clusters to ensure that the seeker was able to keep in touch with the Bahá’ís as he had wanted. He was finally able to meet with two believers where he listened to Anna’s presentation. At this meeting he was invited to a devotional gathering, and when he arrived he had brought his signed declaration card with him.
